The Bolivia Food Bank participated in the First Regional Meeting of Food Banks, held in Panama, a key forum for strengthening regional collaboration and promoting joint solutions to food waste.
This meeting brought together representatives from Bolivia, Paraguay, Honduras, Peru, and Panama, as well as the Global FoodBanking Network, establishing itself as a platform for sharing knowledge, experiences, and best practices aimed at enhancing social impact in the region.
During the working sessions, participants discussed expansion strategies, operational models, and specific actions implemented in each country, which helped identify opportunities for improvement and strengthen food rescue systems. They also promoted a shared vision focused on expanding coverage and optimizing assistance to vulnerable populations.
For the Bolivia Food Bank, this participation represented a valuable opportunity to strengthen strategic partnerships, share lessons learned, and reaffirm its commitment to developing sustainable solutions that help reduce hunger and food waste.
These types of spaces foster collaboration at the regional level and reinforce our commitment to continuing to make a positive impact in more communities.
