In 2023, Nestlé has demonstrated its strong social commitment to the country by donating more than 150,000 kilograms of food products and contributing to the feeding of more than 20,000 beneficiaries of the Bolivian Food Bank (BAB).
Since 2022 Nestlé has proven to be one of the most important partner companies for the BAB, during the course of 2023 Nestlé has benefited more than 20,000 people in the communities of Cochabamba, La Paz and Santa Cruz.
Fabiola Foronda, Business Manager Confectionery & CPW at Nestlé says “The continuous collaboration with the Food Bank, throughout these years, reflects Nestlé's sustained commitment to work together in initiatives that benefit hundreds of families, so that this 2023 we have already reached more than 20,000 beneficiaries with our products, thanks to their great work”.
During the 2023 fiscal year, BAB was able to donate more than 150,000 kg of products such as Mabel's cookies and Nido milk, foods that strongly contribute to the range of products received by people in vulnerable situations served by the BAB.
These generous donations have contributed to food needs and left a lasting impact on vulnerable communities.
“We highlight the positive impact that companies can have when they prioritize the welfare of Bolivian communities, from the Food Bank of Bolivia we want to express our deepest gratitude to our partner companies for their significant contribution, which contributes to a Bolivia without hunger” said Nicole Guerrero Ruiz.
The BAB is confident that this partnership will contribute to more vulnerable populations in the coming years, as solidarity actions by companies like Nestlé strengthen this social cause, generate hope in vulnerable communities and inspire more companies to address challenges and build a world where solidarity and social responsibility are fundamental pillars.
